These Terms govern your use of TeachEd — the AI workspace for language teachers, on the web and as an installable app.
By creating an account or using TeachEd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.
Plain-language terms, provided as-is and not as legal advice. Questions?
hello@teachedos.app.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using TeachEd you confirm that you can form a binding contract, and that you accept these Terms and our
Privacy Policy. If you use TeachEd on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you are
authorised to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your password secure.
You’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@teachedos.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
Student accounts are intended to be created or supervised by a teacher, parent or guardian.
One person should not maintain multiple free accounts to evade usage limits.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or generate harmful, hateful, deceptive or sexually explicit material involving minors.
Upload content you don’t have the right to use, or that violates copyright.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, overload, or circumvent limits, security or access controls of the service.
Resell or sublicense TeachEd, or use it to build a competing product.
Use the service to spam, mine cryptocurrency, or distribute malware.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put it at risk.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the lessons, materials and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a
limited licence to host, store, process and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you (for example, to
sync it across your devices or share a board with students you invite). This licence ends when you delete the content or
your account, subject to routine backup rotation.
You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights needed to use it.
5. AI-generated content
To the extent permitted by law, output the AI generates for you from your prompts is yours to use, edit, print and share for your teaching.
AI output may be inaccurate or unoriginal. You must review it before classroom use; you’re responsible for what you publish or teach.
Similar prompts may produce similar output for other users — we don’t guarantee exclusivity of generated material.
Usage limits apply on the Free plan and may change; we’ll aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
6. Our intellectual property
TeachEd, its software, design, logo, templates and brand are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a
personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they don’t transfer any of our intellectual property
to you.
7. Plans & billing
Free plan is available at no cost, with usage limits, and may change over time.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don’t provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid plan unless cancelled before it ends.
Taxes may apply depending on your location. We may change prices with reasonable notice for future billing periods.
8. Availability & changes
We work to keep TeachEd reliable, including an offline mode, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We may add, change or remove features, and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We’ll try to minimise
disruption.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including
fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You use TeachEd and its generated content at your own discretion and risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeachEd and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or
consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the
amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you use the Free plan.
11. Termination
You can stop using TeachEd and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these
Terms or use the service in a way that harms it or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you
can request export or deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, where the operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules,
and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. We may update these Terms; material
changes will be announced in the app and reflected in the “last updated” date. Questions go to
